Buzz, Viral Marketing and New Media...

As the trend moves to Naked Conversations online -- the title of a great book (ranked #2,652 by Amazon) by Robert Scoble and Shell Israel on how blogs are changing the way businesses talk with customers, transparency  is becoming very important.   

The Naked Conversation blog is worth a regular read.

Controlling information, manipulating information and marketing products...ah, the long continuum.   Yahoo! is looking for a director of viral and word of mouth marketing as is Dow Jones as Ben McConnell and Jackie Hubba write (and link) to in their Church of the Customer Blog.  Check out their article here about how those phone books weighing more than new born babies are becoming so yesterday.
