I'm working on finalizing a blogging survey and will post the link on Wednesday. I hope that others will help support this by posting a link or emailing the link to encourage others to take the survey. It intends to measure a variety of issues relating to blogging.
Results of the research project will be made available. Thank you to blog friends from the blogs Mrs. CPA, InWestcliffe, Mom M'am Me, Grumpapotamus, Compost Happens, Six Kids and others for helping me work out the kinks by testing the survey. I received very valuable input that has helped improve the quality of the survey. Thanks to other blog friends who have offered to help publicize the survey.
This is a bigger project than I've done in the past and I'll be doing more indepth research beyond the survey. Online news readership, building on both an '05 study and a project in the fall of 06 will be included. The focus is on bloggers and blog readers with a deeper study into female blogging and the subgroup of mom blogs. Anyone who participates in blogging will help my study!

I am looking forward to seeing your survey. Thank you for indicating that mom blogs are a sub-group.
I just had an issue with a blog syndication service that has approved our site. Their categories are so narrow, our childfree site does not fit well into them. Of course, they had Parenting, but not Family & Lifestyle!
