The Quiet of A Snowy Morn...
Stillness. A reason not to go out.
Quiet. Pinyon trees outside the window hang heavy.
Challenging: Skiing yesterday in powder and white-outs.
Cold. Snow still falling.
Lazy. A Santa Fe winter day.
Warm. The fire crackles.
Cancelled. Meetings will not go on.
Calling: Snowy day projects on the to-do list.

God, does that sound nice!

All you need is a big mug of hot chocolate. Sounds divine.

Oh my goodness...even though I'm a Southerner by birth, I have to say that one of the best parts of living in the cold Northeast is that every now and then, snow days come along! I absolutely adore it that there are days when Life As We Know It just grinds to a beautiful halt, all meetings get cancelled, and you can just bask in the beauty of nature. Wow! And your picture captured it all. (We currently have 60 degrees here, but I know these days are coming for us, too.) Enjoy!
