That's what I call the Blackberry when it becomes a bedpartner. A little bit crowded sometimes. I guess social crickets would be the buzzing phones. They sort of give interruption or pause to life happenings.
My recent move to NYC made me think of these things. The peaceful sounds of night in the Texas Hill Country are now relegated to the memory as are these Texas crickets. Exactly 49 years ago today, those crickets recorded this famous chirp.
