Old Mother Goose is so out of date
no longer relevant, that's now her fate.
Old Mother Goose is so yesterday...
So long ago, so not in the moment...
Old Mother Goose just doesn't matter
to little feet that go pitter patter...
The lilt of the language, the poetry of words,
The way words are spoken, how words get all learned.
Mothers and nursery rhymes are so out of date...
With iTunes and ways to plug babies' attention.
Ol' Mother Goose is so loosed she is lost.
So lost, she is gone, so gone she is dead.
Nursery rhymes are all dead in the heads
of our next generation, no mas importante, no mas las culturas, no mas las palabaras...
Mother
Goose is no mas. Our mental floss lost? Our roots and our referent,
irrelevant? Who let Mother Goose lose? Mother Goose. Almost all gone.
