wow. your daughter must be pretty stylish if she's bold enough to start her own trend.

Mom mom wore them in the late 60s when I was a pre-pub and I was SO embarrassed. They really weren't cool in those days. I remember they had a short revival when I was in my teens. Now, I think they are kind of cute. But then again, I golf, so that may explain that.

I wore saddle oxfords (and polished them myself). Breaking them in was awful, but once you did, they fit you and only you forever, comfortably. I wanted to get some for my daughters and found them nowhere. No $64 shoes for my growing kids!

Surely she could do this herself! ;)
If she doesn't mind, why should you?
But you are so right, we do things so much LIKE or UNLIKE our mothers... it never stops!

If you were going to buy a golf club, you wouldn't walk into a store and buy the first one you see, would you? Of course

not; especially if you want to improve your golf game! You'll want to hold the club, take some practice swings, hit some

balls if the store has a practice spot, and look at the price, of course. If you are considering buying running shoes,

you need to go through a similar process and take the time to find the perfect shoe.
